These types of models are “set” on a poured concrete foundation. A concrete pier system is used to mount the dumper so that it is affixed to the concrete at your site.
Each model dumper is determined by the length and its related tilt angle. Our standard lengths are 21’, 35’, 40’, 45’, 50’, 60’, 65’, 70’, and 75’. These lengths indicate the amount of useable deck or platform length. The platform has a width of 10’.
The standard tilt angles offered are 36 deg., 45 deg., 55 deg., and 63 deg. This variety of tilt angles is related to individual angles of repose of raw products. We also offer some different pivot locations, positioned on the dumper platform, and use this based on the application. This is determined by discussions with our sales engineers and how it relates to the use of the dumper.
Our truck dumpers are completely manufactured at the Phelps owned manufacturing plant in Little Rock, Arkansas USA. This construction is done by a team, which builds truck dumpers every day. Having an experienced team of employees results in the highest quality construction. The main dumper platform is orientated to achieve the best weld penetration, by our AWS welders and AWS standards.
We use heavy I-beams, formed beams, and floor “four way” plate on dumper construction.
